Chocolate Peanut Butter Peanut Clusters

Chocolate and peanut butter are one of the best food combinations. Since my son has peanut allergies, I hardly ever bake with peanuts or peanut butter. But, he is away at school so I can. You know what they say, when the cat’s away the mice will play. And I played!

These are so easy to make, and so delicious! I made three different batches using three different types of chocolate. Dark, milk, and I even tried a little with white chocolate. My favorite was the milk chocolate, but you can make whichever you prefer.

Ingredients:

2 cups (or 1 – 10oz bag) of chocolate chips

1/3 cup creamy peanut butter

2 cups salted peanuts

Line a cookie sheet with wax paper or parchment paper.

Combine the chocolate chips and the peanut butter in a medium size mixing bowl.

Microwave for one minute on high. Stir well. Microwave for another 30 seconds, and stir until chocolate is fully melted. You may need another 20 seconds or so.

Add the peanuts and stir well.

Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto the lined cookie sheet.

Refrigerate for an hour or until completely set. Store refrigerated.

Eat, repeat. Yum!!!
